all about ali

If you’re looking for a list of sites that I’m on, go to my collective, it’ll tell you everything you need to know. I know you guys probably don’t want to waste your time reading about me, because I’m really not that interesting. So I’m going to do my best to give you the short version of this. Maybe. I might add more as time goes on.

I was born in California on the 24th of April in 1991, along with my twin sister. My real name is Alison (named after the song by Elvis Costello) but I hate it so I’ve always gone by Ali. Being a twin really isn’t that unusual, as much as people ask me. It’s just like having a sister… only she’s there. All. The. Time. I just broke up with my boyfriend of three years. It was hard, but I think it’s for the better. I’m going into my sophomore year of college single, which I think will be tons of fun!

I have a huge passion for web design (as you might be able to tell) and I would seriously love doing it all day. Though I don’t like to be a fat ass sitting on the computer all day. So I do like to go outdoors and explore new stuff… try new things. I also love my friends. I just wrapped up my freshman year of college and it was seriously the best year of my life. I didn’t cry when my parents left to drop me off at college, but I cried when I moved out. I miss my friends there so much and can’t wait to go back in September.

I also really love cats. I’d rather have cats than children, to be honest. I hate kids. Whenever I hear a baby screaming I just want to shoot myself. Whenever I see a cat I want to cuddle it. So why would you want to have kids? Who knows? Who would ever make that decision? Some crazy people, that’s who.

My last love (well, not really. But the last one that’s listed on this page) is music. I am constantly listening to music. I like bands that nobody has heard of. I hate listening to the radio, it’s a bunch of crap. I listen to pretty much everything except for country and classical (I’d rather cut off my ears than listen to country, really). Mostly I like alternative/folkish music though. My current favorite bands are Stars, Blind Pilot, Muse, Papercuts, Miniature Tigers, Passion Pit, Phoenix, TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, & The Jakes.

I’m probably the most liberal democratic person you’ll ever meet. I’m a vegetarian. I’m an atheist. Those stupid catholic/christian people who get in your face trying to spread their beliefs are the worst ever. I’d say I love animals more than humans. And my major is about harvesting alternative energy sources and finding ways to engineer them. Are you a republican? Good for you, but don’t talk to me about politics. Because you’ll just sound stupid to me.
